Swimming with the Dolphins

Lifetime Experience!

For centuries, humans have been fascinated with dolphins. And some of that comes from people’s stories about how fun-loving and kind these creatures are, or how advanced and smart their communication and social skills are.

For example: did you know that, along with apes and humans, dolphins are the only known species that are aware of their own images and recognize themselves in a mirror?
These are the kind of notions we’d like you to discover and be amazed by, whenever you decide to take the next step and have an interaction with these wonderful marine mammals. And at Delphinus, you can make this dream a reality.

Isla Mujeres

A paradise called Isla Mujeres..

Welcome to the beautiful Isla Mujeres !, a paradisiacal place where days of sun, beach and relaxation await you.

Playa Norte is considered the second most beautiful beach in Mexico, for those of us who live here and have visited this natural beauty, it is a source of pride to know that it has been distinguished in this way and that we can enjoy it whenever we feel like it, although without underestimating many other beaches, such as Playa Norte, they have a unique and incomparable beauty.
If you have never visited Playa Norte, then you are missing out on much more than you can imagine....

A little history..
This island was discovered in 1517, when during an expedition Francisco Hernández de Córdoba found it, during the pre-Hispanic period the island was consecrated to Ixchel, who was the Mayan goddess who represented the moon, fertility and love, which received offerings with feminine forms that the believers deposited on their beaches. When the Spanish conquistadors arrived and observed the figures, they named it Isla Mujeres.

One of the wonderful ways to visit Isla Mujeres is on board a fantastic catamaran ...

Tulum Mayan Ruins

Did you know...?

Tulum was a walled city of Mayan culture,The city received in ancient times the Mayan name of Zamá (which means dawn in Mayan) and the current one, Tulum (which means Mayan wall), which seems to have been used to refer to the city when it was already in ruins. Due to the numerous records in murals and other works found in the buildings of the city, it is considered that Tulum was an important center of worship for the so-called "descending god".

During its heyday in the postclassic period (XIII and XIV centuries), Tulum represented an important commercial city and obligatory stop for many maritime routes that covered Mexico and South America. However, with the arrival of the Spanish in the Yucatan peninsula and the disappearance of the local population, the city was forgotten until 1841, when it was rediscovered by explorers John Lloyd Stephens and Frederick Catherwood. Currently, Tulum is the only Mayan city preserved by the sea.

Chichen Itzá Mayan Ruins

Did you Know...?

In the Mayan language, Chichén Itzá means "mouth of the well of the Itza", referring to the Sacred Cenote, the great natural well that the inhabitants of the region considered one of the main entrances to the underworld, seat of important gods, such as those of the rain. In addition, the name of the site refers to the Itza, powerful mythical-historical lords of the city during the time of its growth and apogee.

It is estimated that Chichén-Itzá was built around the years 435 and 455, the architectural complex has a large number of buildings and precincts from the Classic Maya period. The buildings that stand out are the pyramid of Kukulkán or El Castillo, the Temple of the Warriors, the Temple of the Nuns, the Ball Court, the complex of the Thousand Columns, the Ossuary, the platforms of the Tigers, Venus and of the Eagles.
